What does it mean to make a positive impact?
It means being committed not only to achieving an excellent academic record, but also to contributing to society. The call was open to students enrolled in any of the degree programmes offered by the University of Oviedo's own faculties and schools.
Applications were evaluated according to the following criteria:

Social profile. Participation in social initiatives with NGOs or associations that have a clear positive impact on Asturian society:
50% of the final assessment.
●
University profile. Participation in university life, including student associations, sports clubs, university governing bodies, and similar activities:
30% of the final assessment.
●
Academic profile. Academic performance in undergraduate, postgraduate and/or master's degree studies:
20% of the final assessment.

_ A €1,000 award and two runners-up prizes of €500 each.
_ The award recipient donates the prize money and receives a sculpture created by a recent graduate of the Oviedo School of Art.
