Would you like students at your school to learn how to build an air pollution sensor?

We run workshops on environmental pollution in schools, where children learn how to build a sensor to measure airborne particulate matter (PM). In addition, a sensor is installed at each school, creating a network that monitors air quality across different cities in Asturias. The workshop begins with an introduction to the effects of air pollution on human health. Next, the children learn how to assemble the PM sensors and how to access the data collected by similar sensors around the world. Finally, we configure the sensor that will remain at the school to ensure it is operating correctly.
